Sweet Swaps Kids offers many opportunities for you to join our “Happy Helper” team. When you choose to volunteer, it is our collective effort that ensures we have an efficient, organized sale that offers a fun, family friendly shopping experience for each other and our shoppers. After all, the success of the sale is beneficial to everyone that shops, sells or serves! This is part of the win – win – win opportunity our sale creates for our consignors, community and the charitable organizations we support. Volunteering can also be lots of fun!!!
Volunteers help with several aspects of the event including… promoting the sale, distributing flyers, setting up racks and tables, consignor check in, item inspection, sales floor set up, merchandise organization, check out, customer service, item sorting, security, breakdown and clean up. You can choose to help during one or several shifts, and in which ever position(s) that are suitable for you. The more shifts you work, the more you earn and the more incentives you become eligible for.
Most volunteers are also consignors and understand that when they contribute to the success of the sale, they also benefit by selling more of their items! As a thank you for your service… and in addition to the opportunity you have to make great money as a consignor, we also offer several incentives such as the privilege to shop before the public for the best savings and selection. Volunteers are also eligible for great giveaways including: Sweet Swaps Shopping Bucks, Registration Fee Refunds and one volunteer each season will win 100% earnings on all items sold. Please visit our Assistant Appreciation Program page for more details of our incentive program… which is our way of sincerely showing our gratitude and saying THANK YOU for your service and support. We have provided brief descriptions of responsibilities for many of our available positions below.
